Motorization

Five different devices can control the PowerView® Automation system. Each device is paired to your power blinds using the patented PowerView® Hub, which is connected to your home wifi network. You can choose a wall-mounted Pebble® Surface, a mobile Pebble® Remote, a wall-mounted Scene Controller, the PowerView® mobile smartphone app, or voice control through integration with your existing smart home system.

Scenes are combinations of each automatic shade in the room, adjusted to the exact position you want at different times of the day based on your light, privacy, and overall room ambiance preferences. These scene positions can also be chosen for specific events like watching movies or taking a nap. Choose from various fun App color schemes and activity icons to personalize each Scene and Room. You can also create your own Scene names to make them easy to identify.

Once you have created scenes, you can select them manually using the Scene Controller or PowerView® App. You can also schedule them for specific days and times. You can even schedule scenes in multiple rooms to activate simultaneously. You can also allow the PowerView® Automation system to control your motorized window treatments based on their location and the sun’s position.

All power blinds that are equipped with PowerView® Automation are fully cordless. This creates a safer environment in homes with pets and small children. Our motorized window treatments also have sensors that detect obstructions and keep shutters from closing on tails or fingers.

You can power our motorized window treatments one of four ways. Battery wands mounted on the side of the windows or in the headrail are easy to take down so that you can replace the batteries. You can also opt for a rechargeable battery wand that is easily connected to our magnetic chargers. If you want to avoid batter packs, we offer an 18V DC power supply that you can plug into any outlet, or you can choose the integrated 16-shade DC power supply that connects directly to your home’s electrical grid.

Using scenes and the PowerView® app, you can integrate your automatic shades with other home automation systems. This allows you to turn on lights, change the temperate, and open and close your motorized window treatments in tandem, creating picture-perfect settings throughout the day, every day.
